That's it for this one, folks.  Had a brief email exchange with another Eponymer and we basically confirmed each other's suspicions.

The adventure will now continue--or resume--at the old Blogonomicon.

I decided to just use Blogger since I'm already familiar with it and there are still all my original old archives there.

Another sad thing is that Eponym's blog export never worked, not even when everything else did.  I have manual saves of everything, so I can do manual reposts of the popular posts, if I want.

So I'll be getting things going over there again.  Although I can't make it look exactly like this one, I did manage to kind of preserve the general flavor.

Eponym was great while it lasted.  Too bad the folks behind it decided to bail on us.

Access to the dashboard comes and goes.  I'll keep plugging along as long as I can.  If it doesn't get back to normal, I'll just resume operations back at my old Blogspot blog.

Does anyone know how to get Scribefire to work with Blogger?  I know it's supposed to, but I can't get it to.

I haven't gotten a reply to my tech support email yet.  Not even an auto-response.

And I don't know if this post will actually show up.

The contact form for Eponym support was still working, so I asked what's going on.

It doesn't look good, though.  I'll be taking a break until I figure out what to do next.  Right now I'm looking at WordPress.

I don't know if I'll just continue with my blogging as it has been.  I make take this opportunity to go undercover and start blogging anonymously.

We'll see...

UPDATE:  The dashboard is back.

I nearly missed it.  Actually, I left comment #1,000 myself in reply to another comment, so I'll give credit to JR of A Keyboard and a .45 for leaving the 1,001st comment.

Looks like both of my feeds are now whacked.  If I was the paranoid type, I'd be getting suspicious right about now.

UPDATE:  Looks like it was only a temporary hiccup for Feedburner, because it's working again.  The Eponym feed is still dead, though.  I'm also having some problems accessing my dashboard and bringing up the blog.  So I guess Eponym is having some problems.

I know I haven't done much here this week, but I just haven't had a lot of motivation.  Also whatever I was sick with on Sunday has been kind of dragging me down since then.  I'll get back into action eventually, but for now I'm just reading and taking it easy.

So I know I'm posting while offline, but what the hey, they'll show up when the blog comes back.  Here's one Google that actually made me chortle aloud:  "stun guns on alligators."

I wouldn't try it.

The blog should go offline tomorrow morning due to bandwidth restrictions.  As usual, it will be back on the 1st.

There's not going to be anything going on here anyway.  I was sicker than a dog last night and could barely drag myself out of bed this morning.

Eponym's in-house RSS feed seems to have stopped working several days ago.  Of course, if you are one of the 12 people subscribed to it, it's likely you won't get this information until it starts working again.

The Feedburner feed is still working just fine.
