Well, I had almost forgotten I had joined, but today the first ever newsletter from the Texas Citizens Defense League arrived in the inbox. I'm almost certain I meant to add a permanent link to the Second Amendment Links in the sidebar, but hadn't. So, they're added now.
The TCDL is an organization supporting the "political initiative for open carry of handguns in Texas."
Nice idea, but considering how certain jurisdictions ignore state laws already and take their own law into their own hands, getting open carry here would be quite difficult.
Still, getting such a measure passed into state law would provide one more opportunity to bring down vigilante district attorneys.
