A chronicle of vile and pernicious truths.
About This Blog
The right to keep and bear arms, occasional attempts at satire, frequent recourse to sarcasm, and anything else I can think of. Oh yeah, and pipe smoking. Sometimes H.P. Lovecraft. And obscure Monty Python references when applicable.

Is the left sidebar too big for other Firefox users besides me?  I don't know why it's doing that all of a sudden.  It still looks the same as always with IE.
View Article  I just want grape juice
This morning on the way to work, I suddenly thought, "Man, I should have had a couple of glasses of grape juice this morning."  By noon, the thought had turned into a craving.  So I stopped at the next c-store.

I don't like cranberry-grape.  I don't like cranberry-apple.  I don't like cranberry-kiwi-mango-eggplant or whatever other godforsaken concoction they've come up with.  I'm not interested in the least in an enticing mélange of flavors.  I just like plain purple grape juice.

Good luck finding it anywhere but a supermarket.

Fortunately I still have about a gallon here at home, and am satisfying my craving now.
View Article  The Legendary First Edition

Oft spoken of in hushed tones over bottles of Mountain Dew and bags of Cheetos, a copy of the legendary first edition Deities & Demigods was found today in Japan.

One representative of Chaosium was also on hand for the presentation.

Hell in a Handbasket is back online.  Note to Bloglines users:  you need to re-subscribe to the new feed.  The old one is dead, and apparently the "new and improved" Bloglines no longer alerts you when there's a problem with a feed.

Remember the little red exclamations points?  You only see them now if you actually click on the blog name, and only in the post window.  And why click on a blog name if there are no new posts to read?  Bonehead decision, Bloglines.

In Search of the Second Amendment

The TRUE story of the American right to arms is told by some of the greatest names in American constitutional law -- professors at Yale, UCLA, Fordham, George Washington University, George Mason University, and other institutions, as well as by lifelong scholars of the Second Amendment, such as Steve Halbrook, Dave Kopel, and Don Kates.
