I had originally intended to do one of these every Wednesday but then started doing them more often because I couldn't think of anything else. I haven't posted one in a while, so I think I'll just go back to posting them every Wednesday.
I've kind of always wanted a gun like this, but I think I would want the shotgun barrel to be at least 20 gauge.

In this time of decision, when the fate of this country and perhaps the world lie not in our upcoming elections, but how eighteen million different polls are spun, I have decided to institute my own poll.
You may find the new poll by scrolling down in the left sidebar. Consider carefully, the destiny of the world may rest upon your answer.
In the interest of not creating a bias, I will not reveal my own vote until the poll is closed. The poll will be closed when I feel like closing it.
I will say that I have never actually seen Red Hot, Taco, or Sour Cream & Onion.
UPDATE: I missed a flavor. Salsa Verde is added.
UPDATE 2: A new option has been added for those who do not like Corn Nuts.

I'm speechless

SubGenius Reverend points to an old Ripley's Believe It Or Not video that just freaks me out.
I think if he had tried this with with my
Don't Tread On Me tobacco, his head would probably have exploded.
His eyelid muscles must be incredibly powerful to be able to hold a pipe like that.

Safe to assume--that's stoppin' power!

Hell in a Handbasket points us to a site listing all the guns used in a new direct-to-video sequel to the great movie
Tremors:
The Weapons of Tremors 4: The Legend Begins. This movie goes back in time to when the monsters were encountered in the Old West. A very interesting site, with comments about how and why the guns were used in the movie. This is my favorite:
There are
few working punt guns in existence so the one used in Tremors 4
was custom built for the show. It had a two inch bore which according
to the Gun Barrel Proof Act of 1868 is calcified as an, "A
Gauge", the largest size on record. Prop master Bill Davis
had our gun designed around a real H&R 12 gage shotgun. The
entire trigger assembly of the punt gun dropped down to allow the
loading of the internal shotgun with triple load 12 gauge black
powder blanks. This design made the gun much simpler and safer to
use on the set than a real muzzle loader. The total weight of the
gun is 94 pounds and the overall length is 8 feet 4 inches. For
more authenticity, WD-40 was sprayed into the barrel before firing
to create extra smoke.
WD-40. Is there anything you
can't use it for?

Read all about it at JPFO:
Costco Gun Ban.
Costco, where bigotry is legal.
