Go to Resistance is Futile! and read the special one year anniversary double retrospective edition.
I made my own debut into the carnival with this post (although it was then on the old blog).
This month is also sort of special for me. I don't know for sure what it was, but if you look back in the archives, you might notice that March of 2005 was the month that I apparently got a bug up my ### about something and turned this into a regular thing. And to think, a year ago I was an Insignificant Microbe! The ecosystem (all hail) now says that I'm a Blasphemous Spawn of Brown Jenkin, but it's not really accurate. Being in the Anti-PC League has moved me at least two steps up the ladder.
If you are a Second Amendment blogger and you are looking for something to help bring traffic to your site, you really should join in the Carnival of Cordite now and then. It's free and it's fun, and I am often humbled to be included with some of the really good bloggers who are out there.
UPDATE: I spoke too soon. In the recent Ecosystem revision, I dropped down to Loathsome Nitre-Encrusted Shantak-bird.

The right to keep and bear arms, occasional attempts at satire, frequent recourse to sarcasm, and anything else I can think of. Oh yeah, and pipe smoking. Sometimes H.P. Lovecraft. And obscure Monty Python references when applicable.

And loses his Texas CHL because he has been indicted for a felony. His lawyers say they will appeal.I think we can all guess their argument:
He shouldn't be subject to the same law as all those other dirty non-elite types. He's special! He lost his license because he was indicted (not convicted, mind you) for a non-violent crime. It sucks to be treated like a regular guy, don't it, Tom? Technorati Tags: Texas CHL, Tom Delay, concealed carry |
