In the past I've used eBay a lot. I had a nice hobby for a while of buying lots of old smoking pipes, cleaning them up and rejuvenating them, and reselling them. I didn't get rich doing it, although I did make a small profit. The purpose of it was mostly to learn more about pipes, get some experience in doing minor refurbishing, and make some money with which to buy myself new pipes. I also frequently kept one or two out of each lot and sold all the rest. This usually meant that I got one or two free pipes, plus a few dollars extra. I still have a bunch of pipes that I need to clean up and sell.
But now I'm going through a box I have here and am going to try and sell some holsters that I don't use anymore. There have been some changes to ebay since the last time I sold anything, like the fees have gone up. They also now have RSS feeds with which to track sellers and searches. So if anyone is interested, here's my ebay RSS feed. I'll probably stick that link in the sidebar eventually.
All the holsters will be either ambidextrous or left-handed. There will be a couple of fanny packs, too.

But that version of "Light My Fire" by José Feliciano is an abomination.
I once heard an interview with the other three Doors, and Robby Krieger was asked if it bothered him that most people had assumed that Jim Morrison wrote that song. His answer: "No, as long as they don't think José Feliciano wrote it." Yeah. I have nothing against Mr. Feliciano, personally. After all, he sang the most monotonously catchy Christmas song of all time. But man, that version of "Light My Fire" almost makes me want to smash radios. Uh...yeah, I'm sort of a Doors fan. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.

But apparently only because, since he was a Moslem who converted to Christianity, he must be insane.
However, his continued survival in a country ruled by bigots, racists and murderers is not very likely, in my opinion. Technorati Tags: Abdul Rahman, Afghanistan, Christian |
