Well this is weird

All my news feeds are dead. Google, Topix.net, etc. I've seen one go down for a day or two before, but not all of them. Very strange. Regular blogs are still showing up as active on Bloglines, but all my non-blog news sources haven't updated since this morning.

 This one provides us with a couple of pertinent numbers: the gun weighed 19 ounces and was 6.5" in overall length. Can you imagine the shrieks of horror if a modern gun maker marketed a gun by saying that it allows you to shoot faster than some other guy armed with an older gun?
