I'm not so sure this is a good idea.  What happens to the pipe when you throw the shotgun to your shoulder?  Hmmm...it might work for him, since he carries his pipe left and appears to be a right-handed gunner.  However, recoil might cause something unexpected to happen.

It wouldn't work so well for me, since I carry the pipe left and am also left-handed when it comes to long guns.  There would probably be a thwack and a cloud of ashes in my face.  I really don't think I could enjoy smoking a pipe and hunting at the same time.  Now, smoking a pipe and fishing is another story.  And by fishing I mean finding a big hole with an upstream sandbank where I can recline in the shade and stick the cane pole in the sand so I don't have to actually hold on to it.  Smoking a pipe and shooting gars in the creek with a .22 would probably also be a winning combination.

This post is because I again have nothing for today and I hate having a day without a single post.  I already have a really nice vintage gun ad lined up for tomorrow morning.
