A chronicle of vile and pernicious truths.
About This Blog
The right to keep and bear arms, occasional attempts at satire, frequent recourse to sarcasm, and anything else I can think of. Oh yeah, and pipe smoking. Sometimes H.P. Lovecraft. And obscure Monty Python references when applicable.

My favorite is their "images of the day:  universe" feed.  They also have specific feeds for the Earth and Mars.

Here are a couple of recent images.

The Cartwheel galaxy:

Doesn't that look like a giant eye?

The Serpens star-forming region:

Of course, the original images are huge jpgs and therefore are not dial-up friendly.  Still worth it, though, if you pick and choose.

UPDATE:  I was trying to figure out why the html link button in the comments doesn't work.  It was suggested that one of my custom components was screwing it up, so I removed them all.  But that didn't fix it, so I put them all back.  So far, the cause of the problem is still a mystery.

The TRUE story of the American right to arms is told by some of the greatest names in American constitutional law -- professors at Yale, UCLA, Fordham, George Washington University, George Mason University, and other institutions, as well as by lifelong scholars of the Second Amendment, such as Steve Halbrook, Dave Kopel, and Don Kates.
