Thanks, I've been debating against gun control since middle school and people still get me riled up about it.
I try to put out well reasoned arguments and can sometimes get a fence sitter into our camp. The hard core ones are usually hopeless, even if they end up using a gun in self defense they still rally against gun rights. Look at Carl Rowan and Art Buchwald, both vocally vehement anti gun columnists, both defended their homes against intruders with illegal guns and both said they had special rights because of their celebrity status. |
