I've been getting this same "let's hope it doesn't get reviewed by SCOTUS" attitude from a lot of gun oriented web sites, forums and blogs. Everyone is afraid to try for fear of being shot down. With that sort of attitude, how can we ever hope to get anywhere?
I'm betting that SCOTUS will drop this case like a hot potato, much like they have the various religion/atheism oriented cases lately. If they don't and hear it out, we have a good chance of rolling back a bunch of stupid gun bans. If hey hear it and decide against us, well, that will just let people know where exactly they stand in terms of rights and freedom, and hopefully enough people will cry Molon Labe! when they try and confiscate those few guns that are still considered legal.
